New Delhi: After US and Mongolian troops, it is now the turn of Uzbekistan Army to train itself under the specialized instructional staff at! Counter Insurgency and Jungle Warfare (CIJW) School, Variengate, Mizoram. Approximately thirty troops including three officers from Uzbekistan Army have arrived for training at CIJW School, which will conclude on 14 Jan 06.
During the training of Uzbekistan Army, a delegation of officers from Israel and British Army is also expected to witness the training from 11 to 13 Jan 06. These delegations would be here to see the training facilities, training infrastructure and the training methodology of CIJW School. His Excellency, Governor of Mizoram, Mr AR Kohli and his Excellency, Governor of Assam, Lieutenant General (Retired) Ajai Singh, are expected to grace the event, by their presence.
