BSF Guns Down Pakistani Inflitrator, Recovers Narcotics Worth Rs. 10 crore

Border Security Force (BSF) personnel shot dead a Pakistani intruder along the Indo-Pak border near Jagdish post of Husaniwala sector last night.

However, two other intruders managed to escape. BSF officials said that Pakistani Rangers refused to accept the body of the intruder in a flag meeting held today.

According to the BSF, ten packets of heroin (one kilogram each) were recovered near the barbed wire. The cost of the packets is said to be about ten crore in the international market.

The packets bear the stamp of "Marbal Ifaq Factory" of Meer Marbal agency of Pakistan-Afghanistan Limited.

A BSF spokesman said the Pakistani national along with two other were trying to infiltrate into India defying a warning issued by the BSF personnel. Officiating Commandant Kailash Chander Jat of 7 Battalion told reporters that besides heroine, three lives and one used cartridge was also recovered from the spot.
