Karachi: Indian and Pakistani border security officials discussed security and anti-smuggling arrangements at the Khokharapar-Munabao border, media reports said.
BSF Deputy Inspector General Prem Mohan Das and Deputy Director General of Pakistan Rangers Taqdees Ahmed Lodhi led their respective delegations at the talks yesterday.
A private news agency Online here quoted Lodhi as saying that the two sides discussed joint patrolling, defence constructions, return of inadvertent border crossers and anti-smuggling measures.
Last week, the two countries opened the rail track after 41 years as part of the ongoing efforts to build mutual trust and carry forward the composite dialogue process, aimed to resolve all outstanding issues.
