A bomb exploded in a village market in northwestern Bangladesh, injuring at least 15 people.
Police investigators cordoned off the blast site in Atrai in Naogaon district, 195 km northwest of Dhaka, the United News of Bangladesh news agency said. No other details were immediately available.
Three of the victims were hospitalized in critical condition, the agency said, citing police officer Ahsan Kabir.
"Shopkeepers shut their shops and people ran for cover after a loud explosion,'' said Kabir.
But police could not immediately determine the kind of bomb used or who was responsible.
