Violence continued to rock the troubled Pakistani province of Balochistan in the aftermath of last month's killing of prominent tribal chief, Nawab Akbar Khan Bugti, with five rockets exploding in Mach city.
The Dawn newspaper quoted unnamed officials as saying that the rockets were fired from nearby mountains Wednesday, but did not result in any casualty as they landed in a hilly area near the Mach railway station.
'Five rockets were fired at brief intervals,' official sources said, adding that the railway station building suffered minor damage.
A powerful explosion was also reported from Khuzdar on Wednesday night. Another blast was reported from Kharan town, the newspaper said.
There have been many reports of explosions aimed at disrupting the Sui gas pipelines as well.
