Sweden Confident of Selling Bofors Gun to Indian Army

Carl Bildt, the Swedish foreign minister has hinted that Indian government may be interested in purchasing the Bofors gun once again. Bildt will be meeting Defence Minister AK Antony today (May 3) to work out a Memorandum of Understanding on defence co-operation with India.
The meeting comes exactly 20 years after the Bofors scandal broke -- something he acknowledges hurt Indo-Swedish relations for 10 years or more.
