Two Pakistani Terrorists Gunned Down While Infiltrating Into Kashmir

Indian Army Tuesday gunned down two Pakistani terrorists in Kashmir trying to infiltrate through the line of control (LoC) into the Indian side.
'Two militants were killed by the troops of 2 Garhwal regiment in the Gulmarg sector of the LoC in the wee hours of Tuesday,' said lieutenant colonel A.K. Mathur, defence spokesman here.
'The intruding militants were picked up by the night vision devices by the troops near the Phoolan Post around 100 metres inside the LoC.
'They were challenged to surrender, but they started firing at the surrounding troops resulting in an encounter that lasted nearly an hour,' Mathur said.
The identities of the slain militants were being ascertained.
