Management Development Institute (MDI), Gurgaon conducted a weeklong course in advance management programme for 15 senior Army officers, Major Generals and above.
The course which concluded on Saturday, involved latest macro management techniques for application in the warfare and management of various departments in the Army to achieve the organizational goals more effectively.
The week long interaction with senior Faculty members provided new insights into the confluence of business and Services management. The course inputs included latest and most sophisticated methodologies in field operations under challenging situations.
During the period, eminent academic personalities from MDI and industry interacted with the officers, using conventional and unconventional methodologies.
MDI Director, Dr Sujit Basu said the course was highly appreciated by the senior officers who can now look forward to the new applications of the knowledge gained during the course.
