Have you felt that mad adrenaline rush from hell -- a tango in your sights; when you're on the very precipices of pulling the trigger, and subsequently scratching another kill on our sniper rifle? Ever had that heady mix of rage and trepidation, when you've gone Winchester on your primary weapon, with
the only thing separating you from your maker is your trusty pistol with a lone bullet in the chamber?
Wondered why we are fascinated with guns when it comes to any game -- we may never fire them in real life not with those sad gun control laws), but nonetheless are still thrilled by the same.
Ask any gamer why he likes a particular FPS and his reply will be -- guns! Why, you may ask? Let me put this across with an old army adage: "God is with the one packing the biggest gun". Ergo, when fate smiled upon me with an exclusive invitation from an OG (Olive Green -- simply put, army) member, I grabbed it with both hands.
The temptation of laying my paws on real weapons was overwhelming enough to overlook the arduous journey -- I had to travel for 23 hours on my motorbike, then trek for another 50 km carrying a 30 kg Bergen rucksack. Finally, when I reached my destination, it dawned upon me that there was a direct bus/train to that place. So how come my buddy never told me about that?
When questioned, I got typical military reply, "You don't just ask for this, you have to earn it"
