Thailand and India are conducting a joint military exercise to share anti-terrorism tactics in India's eastern state of Jharkhand, local media reported.
The 17-day exercise, the first of its kind between the two armies, is being held under a bilateral security cooperation pact. The joint exercise is aimed at enhancing coordination and cooperation between the two armed forces in the areas of defence and security.
Each country sent 50 troops to the exercise that will conclude on September 19, reported Thailand's The Nation.
