Nearly 70 Terrorists Surrender To Indian Armed Forces in Assam

66 ULFA cadre and 2 NDFB cadre surrendered with arms and ammunitions before the Assam Police.
The surrender was taken jointly by General Officer Commanding 4 Corps and Director General of Police, Assam in presence of other senior Police and Army Official at Guahawati.
The surrender led by Ujjawal Gohain , the finance secretary of 28 Bn ULFA. He is among the senior most ULFA leader and had been operating in upper Assam. With this the total number of surrendered ULFA cadre are over 135 in last two weeks
