The Republic of Singapore Air Force (RSAF) and the Indian Air Force (IAF) will complete their 15-day bilateral exercise, codenamed SINDEX, at Paya Lebar Air Base in Singapore on Friday.

The RSAF's F-16 C/D Fighting Falcons and F-5E Tiger fighter aircraft and the IAF's Mirage 2000 and Jaguar aircraft are participating in this exercise.

Chief of Air Staff, Air Chief Marshal Shashindra Pal Tyagi, observed the exercise on December 11 and called on Singapore's Defence Minister Teo Chee Hean.

This is the fourth exercise in the SINDEX series, the first three of which were conducted in India.

The exercise, which commenced on December 8, underscores the warm defence relationship between Singapore and India.
